I wish I could tell you I was a book worm growing up, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, I spent my weekends starring in music video parodies that I made with my gay uncle. I started becoming interested in books when I had a problem in my life that I couldn’t fix on my own.
This year I had MANY problems, so as you can imagine, I read a ton of books. I wanted to share 4 books that helped me become more of the ‘boss of my life’ that I wanted to be.
I’m excited to share these books with you because they were all very enjoyable reads! I love personal development books that are straight-forward, relatable and make you laugh.
I believe that if you don’t like reading, you’re not reading the right stuff. So keep searching!
Here are 4 books that changed my life this year and helped me think like a boss.

Why I recommend it: This book is laugh-out-loud hilarious!
Takeaways: Mastering a skillset takes perseverance and building those habits that create discipline in our life so that you can see and experience real change in the skills you’re developing or the project you’re creating.
